Warwick Caledonian Society 150th Anniversary Celebration
Warwick Caledonian Society, one of the oldest societies of its kind in Australia, is celebrating their 150th anniversary with some great events.
FREE Community Bagpipe Muster
Celebrations will kick off with a FREE community event, a Bagpipe Muster, which will be held at the Warwick Showgrounds, with flourishing highland dancers, the skirl of bagpipes and a full program of entertainment.
There will also be traditional highland games, a blacksmith, a fire lighting ceremony, Canton of Stegby all transporting you to a distant land of mountains, mist and reminiscent of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Ticketed Scottish Gala Dinner
After the stirring massed bands there will be a Scottish Gala Dinner with traditional Haggis, whisky and the poetry of Robert Burns.
